HIGH PRESSURE ENERGY STORAGE (CAES) AIR COMPRESSOR PACKAGES

CAES is the process of storing surplus energy, that is produced during periods of low electrical power demand, using high pressure compressed air.

At Applied Compression we recognise that in many cases the initial capital cost of the compressor package will often determine the economic viability of the project.  With this in mind, we have developed a range of high pressure air compressors that allows us to easily match a unit to your specifications and budget.

These packages range from smaller units with integral high pressure cylinders for small pilot/demonstration plants to large scale, high-capacity packages for underground cavern storage.  Pressures are typically in the 3000 – 6000 PSIG range.
